Warehouse & Logistics Co-ordinator

ABOUT COBA:

This vacancy is within Copely Developments, based in Thurmaston, Leicestershire.

HOURS OF WORK:
08:30-17:00, Monday to Thursday
08:30-16:00, Friday
39 hours per week, 30 minutes break

WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR – KEY DUTIES:

· Manage the on time/accurate despatch of all outbound shipments
· Work with production, internal sales and the planning department to meet customer orders and shipments
· Quotation, co-ordination and paperwork required for all export orders
· Organisation of imports
· Receipt ‘booking in’ of goods inward PO’s
· Filing of delivery declarations and paperwork
· Manage customer labels for 2OP04 and all free issue fittings
· Have good knowledge and understanding of the warehouse management system and all customer related portals for the co-ordination of logistics.
· Manage customer returns
· Upkeep of PI records.
· To Liaise with customers in a polite and professional manner whilst being prompt, helpful and accurate and keeping them informed of current situations
· Listen to the customer and understand their requirements
· Meet customer requests efficiently and effectively and explain if there are aspects that we cannot meet and why

WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR – REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

· A good working knowledge of best practice logistical operations
· Previous experience using ERP systems such as IFS/SAP
· A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
· A good standard of IT literacy
