About Treaty Shopping Centre
Located in the heart of Hounslow, Treaty Shopping Centre is home to around 50 shops and welcomes approximately 7.5 million visitors each year. With such high levels of foot traffic, the two main entrances were due for a refurbishment to create a more welcoming environment for visitors while improving dirt and moisture control.
The Refurbishment Project
The refurbishment took place in February 2014, with Mat Services Ltd carrying out the installation. The existing loose lay matting system was replaced with a more robust interlocking entrance tile solution.
A total of 352 tiles were installed across the two main entrances, covering an area of 42m². The upgrade not only refreshed the look of the entrances but also delivered significant improvements in functionality, ensuring better performance under heavy use.
Treaty Centre Manager, Janet Leatherland, commented:

About Premier Track Entrance Tiles
Premier Track is a heavy-duty interlocking entrance tile system designed to withstand the demands of busy retail environments. Each tile features a crush-resistant nylon carpet insert, offering excellent dirt and moisture control.
