What is Hygimat made from?
Hygimat anti-fatigue mats are manufactured from a new material to produce a truly extraordinary ergonomic mat. The hygienic mats are made from a newly developed rubberised gel foam, which gives the mats unique properties.
Rubberised gel foam is a completely new material which has been developed to create comfort and cushioning underfoot when required to stand for long hours at work.
The hygienic anti-fatigue mat with closed cell structure
During the unique and patented manufacturing process, the material is formed into a “closed-cell” structure. The finished mat has a soft top layer and a dense bottom layer.
The closed cell structure prevents liquids and dirt particles from penetrating the hygienic anti-fatigue mats material.
Antibacterial ergonomic workplace mat
In the manufacturing process, the material is given antibacterial and mould-resistant properties. This process makes the anti-fatigue mat particularly suitable for healthcare, food processing, nursing professions, sports medicine and many other areas in which compliance with high hygiene standards is important.
Easy to use and clean
Despite the robust and high-quality properties of the anti-fatigue mat it is surprisingly light. This allows the mat to be easily placed on the floor and repositioned.
Cleaning this hygienic anti-fatigue mat is easy, it is resistant to common cleaning agents and can also be steam sterilised.
Tested – Slip resistance and fire protection
Hygimat has been tested with R11 slip resistance according to DIN 51130 and the ramped edges prevent trip accidents.
The fire behaviour was tested according to BS EN 13501 with class Dfl – s1.
