What are welding strip curtains?

A welding PVC strip curtain ensures that employees are kept safe from risks involved with welding. They can minimise the risk of ‘welding flash’ and have been specially designed for use in welding bays. These heavy duty green strip curtains create a protective screen against UV rays.

Typical applications for welding bay curtains include, industrial areas where small areas are sectioned off as a designated welding bay or larger areas where multiple welding bays are required.

We stock four other variations of PVC door strips; Polar PVC Strip Curtain, Buffer Ribbed PVC Strip Curtain, Clear PVC Strip Curtain and Marker PVC Strip Curtain.

Our PVC strip curtain range is delivered with pre-fitted hangers for ease of installation avoiding any damage. If replacement welding PVC strips are required they are also delivered with fitted hangers, to avoid any downtime.

Yes, the PVC strip curtains offer sound insulation of approx. 30dB according to DIN 52210.

Our PVC welding bay curtains are available in a slat width of 300mm and can be cut to size.
