Our latest Waste Stream Performance Report showcases an exciting milestone in that journey. Over the past year, our Europark facility has achieved more than 91% diversion of waste away from landfill, with over 69% of all waste fully recycled. That’s an incredible 20,492 kg of material that has been responsibly managed through improved segregation and recycling systems.
A Smarter Approach to Waste
This achievement reflects the success of our collaboration with a new waste management supplier. In the early stages of setup, most materials were going into general waste as we worked to put the right systems in place. Today, we’ve established dedicated collection streams for plastic, paper, cardboard, wood, food, and general waste, ensuring that materials are processed in the most sustainable way possible.
By separating waste at the source, we’re not only reducing what goes to landfill but also helping create new value from recycled materials. Every kilogram we divert contributes to a more circular economy and supports COBA’s long-term environmental objectives.

While these results are already impressive, this is just the beginning. As our systems continue to mature and staff across the site adapt to the new processes, we expect to see even stronger performance in the months ahead.
