Why do I need rubber gym matting?

Regardless of whether it is a professional gym or a private fitness room, where weights are lifted, the floor should be protected. Even if carefully set down, weights and dumbbells can damage floor coverings. If dumbbells are set down harder or even fall, there is a high risk of injury if they jump up again from a hard floor.
